Street style at New York fashion week 2014!
Street style is a very important part of fashion week because I love seeing how people dress. I get most of my outfit inspiration from what other people wear. It’s always fun to see how different models, bloggers, fashion industry peeps, celebrities, and even random people dress. This year the weather gods decided to make New York into a polar vortex during fashion week. However, people didn’t let the below 20 degrees temperature ruin their fashion game.
Amiee Song of Song of Style and her sister Dani Song.
Amiee is wearing leather pants, blue leather jacket, black fur coat and a black and white leather crossbody bag.
Dani is wearing Chanel chain boots, white leather jacket, black mini skirt, and a black clutch.
I love both of the girl’s looks. Their jackets as well as Dani’s boots Amiee’s pants make both looks very downtown cool.
Unidentified fashion girl in a black leather jacket, grey graphic tee, pink tulle skirt, glitter pumps and a black Chanel boy bag.
I love this girl’s look because of the jacket and pink tulle ballerina skirt. They are such opposites, but they work together so well. And the black Chanel boy bag tops off the look. Judging from her bag, she is probably some New York City socialite, who has a closet full of Chanel.
Shea Marie of Peaceloveshea in a pink coat, geometric-black and white jumpsuit and a black and white checkered tote bag.
I love Shea’s outfit because the pink coat balances the jumpsuit.
Victoria Justice in a white coat and red Chanel bag.
The real star in Victoria’s outfit is her red Chanel bag. It gives the outfit an extra something special. I would kill for her bag!
Chiara Ferragni of The Blonde Salad decked out in an Msgm pants and sweater, Delfina Delettrez earrings, a black scarf, and a black Celine box bag.
Chiara’s look is a perfect example of balancing different textures and patterns. However, the short strap of her bag is a no go!
Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller in a oversized Stella McCartney blazer, Zara t-shirt, Citizens of Humanity skinny jeans, leather thigh highs by Celine, scarf by Peter Pilotto, red fringe bag by Valentino and Oliver People’s sunglasses.
I love Leandra’s look because all the different patterns and her leather Celine thigh highs are so awesome.
Unidentified fashion girl in a blue knit sweater, shearling coat, a purple knit hat and a YSL Betty bag.
This fashionista’s look is a great choice for New York fashion week because the bag gives it class, and the hat makes it young and cool.
Super model Karlie Kloss in a grey sweater and shearling coat.
I love Karlie’s look because it’s so easy and chic.
Naya Rivera of Glee in a grey cowl neck sweater, printed coat, big, black floppy hat and black Hermes Kelly bag.
At first glance I thought this was Kim Kardashian because of the hair and bag. Both girls are engaged to big time rappers, and both have excellent taste in fashion. I love her bag and hat! Her bag is so chic, and her sweater and coat are a great suit of armor in the chilly New York air.
